Prince Albert National Park – July 9th

WASKESIU
All businesses in Waskesiu, including a variety of accommodation, restaurants, retail shops, and marinas are open.
Visitor Centre and Nature Centre are open.
Summer programs for families are underway (see attached).

CAMPING
Waskesiu (Beaver Glen, oTENTiks, Red Deer), Narrows, Namekus Lake and Sandy Lake campgrounds are open.
Kingsmere Road and campgrounds on Kingsmere Lake are open.
Backcountry and random camping in the southern half of the park is available. Remember to register for any overnight back country trip in PANP.
Bagwa/Lily campsites (accessible via Kingsmere Lake) remain closed.
Tabiska, Wabeno and Wassegam Lakes, and Bladebone Canoe route, remain closed.

Crean Lake remains open for day use only.

FIRE INFORMATION
The fire ban is still in effect – visitors can use charcoal briquettes, propane and naphtha camp stoves.
Calypso fire, north of Crean Lake, is being monitored daily by Parks Canada Staff.
