Casino club members eligible to win UFC tickets
An exciting new contest is currently taking place at the Prince Albert Northern Lights Casino.
Players Club members between the ages of 19 and 40 can now enter to win a chance to win UFC tickets to the Aug. 23 UFC Fight Night that is set to take place at Saskatoon’s Sasktel Centre. The upcoming mixed martial arts event, which is making its first ever debut in Saskatchewan on that date, will feature a five-round main event with two top 10 ranked featherweights Max Holloway and Charles Oliveira.
Until recently professional MMA was deemed illegal in Saskatchewan. Earlier this year legislation changed and an Athletics Commission Act was established. It was only a matter of time before the sporting event made its way here.
A total of eight tickets can be won through the casino’s No Holds Barred – UFC Ticket Contest with two ways to enter. Club members can either swipe their player’s club card once per day at the casino’s rewards centre to receive one entry or if they want to have some influence on increasing their odds to win they can also take to social media and enter on the casino’s Facebook page. All they have to do is take a selfie of themselves with the UFC Fighter cut outs that casino staff will randomly display within the casino throughout the coming weeks. Then participants can submit that photo using the Facebook form that is supplied on the casino’s Facebook page and post it to Facebook and Twitter using #NLCUFC.
