Saskatoon police detained over half a dozen people following a standoff on Wednesday.
Shortly before 10:30 a.m., officers observed a person they believed had warrants out for his arrest. The suspect reportedly fled into the home on the 100 block of Avenue O South.
Police surrounded the home, with dozens of officers, including heavily armed tactical personnel visible around the scene.
Police spokesperson Kelsie Fraser said officers still had to fully search the home and that while the people inside were being detained, there was no information on what charges might be laid.
