Porsche Sask. unveils custom 918 Spyders

Saskatoon is now home to two new road warriors.

The Porsche dealership in Stonebridge now houses two unique Porsche 918 Spyders – customized with historic Porsche-racing colours.

The 918 Spyder debuted at the Frankfurt International Autoshow, and captured the world press with its innovative plug-in concept. It shattered the Nurburgring Nordschleife lap record by 14 seconds, posting a 6:57 run, with its V8 and hybrid system boasting a maximum output of 887 horsepower.

Porsche is only manufacturing 918 of these cars, two of which are now available in Saskatchewan.
