RCMP looking for suspected Emma Lake arsonist

RCMP are asking for the public’s help finding a suspect in a possible arson case.

A trailer fire at Emma Lake on Sept. 3 left two trailers destroyed and another trailer and cabin heavily damaged.

RCMP say they’re considering the fire suspicious and are looking for information. Anyone in the Sunset Bay area of Emma Lake who has a trail camera or other surveillance equipment is asked to contact RCMP so the footage can be reviewed. 

A small group of people were in the area between 10:00 p.m. and 11:15 p.m. and are being considered persons of interest in the investigation. Those individuals are being asked to come forward and speak to RCMP.
