Weekend victory extends Midget AA Raiders win streak to 6 games

The Midget AA Raiders continued their win streak Sunday, defeating the Saskatoon Screaming Eagles 5-3 at the Dave G. Steuart Arena.

Mikhail Tait opened the scoring with a partial break away slap shot in the first period. Raiders forward Ty McBeth then went on to make it 2-0 before the Screaming Eagles came back with a goal with 21 seconds remaining in the second period.

Matthew Kutnikoff had an early third period goal before the Screaming Eagles scored two more goals to tie it up. Braedan Mishak and Matthew Flodell had two more goals to make it a 5-3 win for the Raiders.

This is the sixth straight win for the Raiders.
