19-year-old welder found dead after workplace explosion

RCMP are releasing information on a workplace fatality near Kinistino.

On Nov. 3 at 2:30 p.m., RCMP from Melfort were called to a business just 2 kilometres south of Kinistino when people thought they heard a gunshot on the property.

When RCMP officers arrived, they found it was actually a welding explosion.

A 19-year-old man who suffered injuries from the accident was pronounced dead. The name of the man is not being released.
