Canadiens alumni heading over to Art Hauser
Prince Albert Raiders hockey fans will get their first live look at watching Dave Manson play in almost 30 years since he last played for the Raiders.
Manson will suit up with the locally based Mont St. Joseph Rejects who will take on the Montreal Canadiens Alumni Sunday at the Art Hauser Centre. The Canadiens Alumni are currently in the Western Canadian portion of their tour; they’ll be in La Ronge a night prior on Saturday.
Manson admitted he hasn’t done a whole lot of training or practice heading into the game but does spend lots of time on the ice as an associate coach with the Prince Albert Raiders. Some think that isn’t enough.
“Let’s just say his fitness isn’t probably where it needs to be and let’s just leave it at that,” laughed Raiders head coach Marc Habscheid.
