Several roads are closed in the Rural Municipality of Meadow Lake No. 588 Wednesday as crews respond to rapidly changing conditions after a state of emergency was declared.
The RM said three roads are closed until further notice: Township Road 610 to Highway 4, Township Road 602 to Range Road 3180 and 3175, and Range Road 3175 to Township 604 and 602.
“Road conditions are changing rapidly,” the RM said, advising residents to watch for water washing over road surfaces and to use caution near culverts, bridges and low-lying areas.
The municipality declared a state of emergency Tuesday in anticipation of potential flooding.
