UPDATE: Man charged in connection with fatal accident

The 21-year-old Prince Albert man allegedly involved in the Sunday’s fatal vehicle collision that left two females dead has been charged.

Jeremiah Jobb is charged with two counts of impaired driving causing death and two counts of exceeding .08 causing death.

At 2:26 a.m. Sunday morning, Prince Albert Police responded to a motor vehicle collision involving a truck and car at 28th Street East and 12th Avenue. The driver of the car

Taylor Litwin, 21, died on scene and Brandy Lepine, 17, later died Sunday night in hospital.

Cst. Shawn Rowden with Prince Albert Police confirmed Lepine gave birth before her death.

“Upon initial assessment of Lepine, it was determined that she was an expecting mother. Prior to her passing medical staff assisted and were successful in delivering Lepine’s baby. Lepine’s baby is in hospital and reported to be in serious condition,” said Rowden on Monday.

Few details are known at this time concerning the lead up to the accident or the speed of either vehicle.

Rowden said accident reconstruction staff are currently reviewing the case and are asking the public for any tips about the incident.

“The Prince Albert Police Service continues to investigate this tragic incident and asks that anyone who feels they have information to contact police,” he said.

Jobb appeared in court Monday morning and is scheduled to appear again in Prince Albert Provincial Court July 22 at 10 a.m.
