Local jiu-jitsu athletes lock up medals at provincial tournament

Students from Complete Martial Arts in Prince Albert finished on top this past Saturday at the 12th annual Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu Tournament in Regina.

The students brought home a total of 11 medals (two gold, five silver and four bronze).

Here are the results:

Sebastian MacGregor – double bronze (Boys Gi & NoGi / White / 7-8 years / 67 lbs-79 lbs)

William Macgregor – double silver (Boys Gi & NoGi / White / 7-8 years / 67 lbs-79 lbs)

Dominic Parent – bronze (Boys Gi / 7-8 years / Grey / 67 lbd-79 lbs), silver (Boys NoGi / 7-8 years / Grey / 67 lbd-79 lbs)

Isaiah Parent – bronze (Boys NoGi / Yellow / 13-14 Years / 106 lbs – 123 lbs)

Landon Mudjar – double gold (Boys Gi & NoGi / White / 13-14 years / 124lbs-141-lbs)

Jesse Fehr – double silver (Juvenile Boys Gi & NoGi / Orange / -175 lbs)
