Raiders rebound to rattle red-hot Warriors
The Prince Albert Raiders were looking for a response after a disappointing 6-3 loss Friday to the Edmonton Oil Kings, and they got exactly that.
They beat the red hot Moose Jaw Warriors 4-3 in a gritty, character win Saturday at the Art Hauser Centre. The Warriors were 7-0-1 in their previous eight games before being handed a loss by the Raiders.
“It was much better, and you could have called that really,” Raiders head coach Marc Habscheid said. “They rebound well, it’s a good bunch. I didn’t like our effort yesterday, but yesterday’s gone. It’s how you respond. The guys responded real good.”
