Alcohol thief caught by Febee the police dog
A man attempting to steal alcohol from a home was no match for one of Prince Albert police’s service dogs.
Early this morning, Prince Albert police arrived at a home in the 500 block of 23rd St. E. for a report of a garage break-and-enter.
The residents of the home told officers they heard an alarm sound and saw a man leaving their garage. They discovered alcohol was missing from their fridge.
Police Dog Febee and her handler Const. Mike Chow were put on the track. A man matching the residents’ description was found on Mcleod Ave. and arrested without incident.
