Work starts on $1.3 million bridge at Nemeiben Lake

Work has begun on a bridge replacement entering the Nemeiben Lake Campground. 

Information from the Ministry of Highways states work started in October and will continue until sometime in January 2027. The work includes removing the existing bridge, constructing the new bridge, and completing the associated approach road work.  

The total cost of the project is $1.3 million.  

“Highway 102 at Nemeiben Lake will be closed to traffic during construction. Individual crossings may be accommodated with prior arrangements.”
