RM of Prince Albert to consider cannabis store application 

Cannabis consumers could have another option if the RM of Prince Albert approves an application to build a cannabis store and commercial complex near city limits. 

RM council will hear an application from Underground Performance and Meadow Lake business GrassBar Group to open cannabis and vape stores at 4325 Second Ave. W. 

The property is zoned highway commercial and is just south of the Wholesale Club grocery store. A cannabis store is a discretionary use at the site. 

A public hearing will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Oct. 30 at the RM of Prince Albert office. Interested parties can attend, and council will consider written submissions received before or during the hearing.
