Brayden Albert Berno Bear late of Big River First Nation, SK passed away on Friday, September 25, 2026 in Big River First Nation, SK at the age of 26 years. Wake Services will commence for Brayden on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026 at 3:00 p.m. from the Big River First Nation Band Hall. The Funeral Service for Brayden will take place on Tuesday, Sept. 29, 2026 at 11:00 a.m. also at the Band Hall. Brayden will be laid to rest in the Whitefish Anglican Cemetery.

Brayden is lovingly survived by his son, Kayne Bear; his mother, Albertine Bear; his grandmother, Margaret Rabbitskin; his siblings, Kristen (Lyndon) Bear, Danika Bear, Charly (Marshall) Bear, and Tyrell (Cadence) Bear and all of his Big River First Nation family;

his nieces / nephews, Kadence Bear, Nahazzie Bear, Kaezyn Bear, Zeanna Bear, Adam Bear, Kache Durocher, and Jenna Kahpeaysewat; his adopted siblings, Keshia and Curtis Wuttunee; his god parents, Rhonda Thomas, Trina Thomas, Brian Bear, and Marcel Bear; as well as all of his Bear and Thomas family.
