Prince Albert pair busted in Dauphin, Manitoba following traffic stop   

Two residents of Prince Albert are in Manitoba jails after being arrested by Dauphin RCMP following a traffic stop.  

Officers stopped the vehicle on Sept. 18 at about 7:20 p.m. because the registered owner of the vehicle had a suspended driver’s license, The patrol officer then saw illegal cannabis in plain view in the centre console of the vehicle.  

That led to the arrest of the man and woman in the vehicle and a search by officers, who found a kitchen knife, a sword, needles, drug paraphernalia and open liquor.  

Both were also under court-ordered conditions to not have contact with each other.
