Prince Albert gas prices expected to jump
Prince Albert drivers may want to fill their tanks soon, with an industry analyst warning that gasoline prices in the city are likely to climb.
As of Tuesday, GasBuddy listed gasoline at most Prince Albert stations between $1.62 and $1.65 a litre. One station was reporting a price of $1.79.
Patrick De Haan, GasBuddy’s head of petroleum analysis, said prices below $1.70 may not last much longer.
“If you’re looking at a price below $1.70 a litre, it may be a good idea to fill up, knowing that higher gas prices are coming down the pipeline because of Middle East escalations and because of this recent refining outage,” he said.
