Saying goodbye is never easy. On September 11, 2026, we said goodbye to our husband, dad, and papa, Kent Walters. Although our hearts are broken, we feel blessed to have had him in our lives for as long as we did.

Born on January 5, 1959, to Carl and Agnes Walters, Kent grew up in Prince Albert, SK, alongside his siblings Carla, Keith, Kirk, and Kip. It was there he met and married the love of his life, Constance McCloy.

Together with his brothers Keith and Kip, Kent owned and operated Walters Service, a local automotive repair shop, for over 40 years. After retiring, he devoted himself to the second love of his life — Clam Lake — where he spent countless happy days surrounded by family and friends.

Kent is survived by his pride and joys, his children, Matthew (Milan), Brock (Hailey), and Amy (Aaron); his grandchildren, Nathan, Jacob, Emily, Connor, Carl, Alexander, and Avery; and his loving wife, Connie. Their love for him is the legacy he leaves behind. He is also survived by his sister, Carla; brothers, Kirk, and Kip (Jackie); and sister-in-law, Janet.

He is predeceased by his parents, Carl and Agnes Walters; nephew, Christopher; brother, Keith; brother-in-law, Jack Burkitt; and his parents-in-law, Herbert and Priscilla McCloy.

As Kent was very proud and supportive of his grandkids’ involvement in sports, in lieu of other tributes, donations in Kent’s memory can be made to:
