Herculine Schultz

It is with heavy hearts that the Schultz family announce the passing of Herculine (nee: LaPierre) Schultz, of Marcelin, SK, on July 29, 2026, at the age of 96 years.
She was born in Marcelin, SK, on April 2, 1930. She attended Skipton School and helped raise her younger siblings on the farm. Herculine met her husband, John, while he was working on the threshing crew. In 1949 they married and moved to Sudbury, Ontario, and started their family. Judy was born in 1950, Joyce 1951, Robert (Bob) 1954, David 1955, and twins Irene and Marlene in 1960. They purchased a farm in Marcelin, SK, in 1959 but were unable to move there until 1962. Their youngest daughter, Linda, was born in 1964. Unfortunately, her husband John passed away in 1977. She continued to live on the farm until 2023.
Herculine’s many interests included gardening, growing flowers, square dancing, sewing, playing card games, bingo, and watching soaps on tv. She also was a foster mother to several children. In later years she enjoyed vacations in Hawaii and going on several cruises.
She spent her final years at the Leask Wheatland Lodge until her passing.
Funeral Service will be held at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Marcelin, SK, on Thursday, August 6, 2026, at 11:00AM.
