August long weekend promises to be a windy one
Your August long weekend will be a windy one, according to Environment and Climate Change Canada.
Meteorologist Ken Dosanjh said that a system coming into Saskatchewan this weekend will bring warm temperatures and windy conditions.
For Friday, temperatures should remain near normal, with a possibility of isolated thunderstorm activity.
“As we get into the weekend, we are anticipating a system to kind of roll through, and more specifically we’re going to be increasing those winds from the south late Saturday, or Saturday afternoon,” Dosanjh explained.
