Our adored husband, father and grandfather Rocky Howard Johnstone passed away peacefully at Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert, SK surrounded by the love and support of his family.

Rocky was born May 19^th,1962 in Birch Hills, SK to Howard and Hellen Johnstone. Rocky was the first-born son following ten daughters, and oldest boy of four sons. Growing up with a full house, and strong family bonds. He lived and worked on the family farm for his entire life. He married his wife Carol on July 24^th, 1998. Together they raised four children and built a warm family-centered life. His work ethic was like no other. Whether rising before dawn to beat the sun or working late into the night during harvest, his hands knew the true value of an honest day’s labour. Beyond the fields he was the pillar of his family, Rocky was always there with a hug, a smile, and words of advice.

Our fondest memories are the early morning phone calls, our annual fishing trips, hunting adventures and working on the farm with him. We are grateful and know that so many others have gained so much knowledge and wisdom that will be passed down for generations, what an amazing legacy he leaves.

Rocky will be forever remembered for his sense of humor, his big smile, his gift for storytelling, and his kind and generous heart. His door was always open for family and friends with coffee on and a joke to tell.

Rocky will be deeply missed by his wife Carol; His children & grandchildren Jamie & Jennifer- Keaton, Asher & Ella; Travis- Cooper & Myles; Kristy & Shea- Kolbie, Madden, Charley & Slade; Brandon & Tristen- Jaxon; along with his siblings, numerous nieces, nephews and all those who knew and loved him.
