PA Police renew request for help in historical missing person case

Prince Albert Police have renewed their request to the public for information regarding the disappearance of Robert Wiggins. 

Wiggins was 29 years old when he was last seen in the 500 block of 11th Street East in Prince Albert. He was dropped off at a residence by some ‘close friends’ just before sunrise on July 28, 1980 – 46 years ago today. 

When Wiggins vanished, he stood 5’10” and weighed 180 pounds. He would be 75 years old in 2026.

Weeks after disappearing, his wallet was found along Highway 16 near Radisson and was turned in to local RCMP. Inside was $300 cash and a cheque made out to him for $67.60. He was also known to have connections to Edmonton and Calgary at the time.
