Sask Pen murder case proceeds to court in Prince Albert
Two men charged in connection with a death at Saskatchewan Penitentiary appeared by video when they made their first court appearances Wednesday at Prince Albert Provincial Court.
Eugene Caisse and Britain Volk are being held at a federal institution in Edmonton and are charged with second-degree murder in the death last April of Horace Bear.
Their matters were adjourned to Aug. 12.
Volk is serving a life sentence for first-degree murder, while Caisse is serving a 15-year sentence for manslaughter.
