Prince Albert athlete named Special Olympics Saskatchewan summer ambassador
If you haven’t met Rhyker Evanishen-Menzies yet, there’s a good chance you will over the next few days.
The Prince Albert athlete has been named Special Olympics Saskatchewan’s summer ambassador for 2026 and will spend 10 days promoting the organization and encouraging donations across the province.
Rhyker kicked off his ambassador duties Monday at Safeway in Prince Albert, handing out high-fives and meeting shoppers.
“It’s really cool,” said the young floor hockey and baseball player.
