Northern Lights Casino teams up with Street Fair for family-friendly bingo tent

The Prince Albert Downtown Business Improvement District is adding a new attraction to this year’s Street Fair, with Northern Lights Casino joining the downtown celebration as it marks its 30th anniversary.

PADBID executive director Rhonda Trusty said the partnership will bring a free bingo tent to Central Avenue during the annual event on Saturday, June 20 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

“We’re really excited to have Northern Lights Casino involved this year,” Trusty said. “It’s something new for Street Fair, and it gives families another fun reason to spend the day downtown.”

Another new feature will be an Art Alley along 10th Street East where live demonstrations will show off different artistic mediums.

Street Fair stretches along Central Avenue and nearby side streets and will feature a long list of family activities, including live entertainment, a petting zoo, pony rides, clowns and princesses.

“Street Fair has always been about bringing the community together,” Trusty said. “We want people to come downtown, enjoy everything the day has to offer and make some great memories with their families.”

The 2026 Street Fair continues to build on the event’s reputation as Prince Albert’s largest single-day community gathering. According to PADBID, thousands of people attend the free festival, which spans seven blocks of entertainment and activities downtown.

This year’s fair will also include live music, food vendors, classic cars and other returning attractions. Northern Lights Casino volunteers will also host children’s games outside the bingo tent as part of the free day of programming.

In 2024, over 30,000 people attended the fair. Last year’s attendance was slightly down due to the original dates being rained out.
