Raiders comp
After a dominant showing in Game 1, the Prince Albert Raiders were primed and ready for Game 2 against the Saskatoon Blades. The first period was hard fought but stayed scoreless, and eventually the Raiders were still the team in control until they finally broke through for a 3-0 win.
For the first period, the Blades came out with the first push of the game although they didn’t earn the game’s first shot. The Raiders started to take over momentum through the period, but still there was no scoring to finish the period with a tense feeling.
Brayden Dube got hit with a double minor for high sticking near the end of the period, but the Raiders held the Blades without a shot for the final three minutes of the period with 52 seconds carrying over to the second.
