Drug investigation

Three people charged in Prince Albert drug bust

Apr 10, 2026 | 4:22 PM

A woman and two men are facing charges after Prince Albert Police searched a home on Valleyview Road, finding drugs, phones, scales and a money counter.

The Crime Reduction Team got a tip in March that someone was believed to be trafficking drugs from the residence, where they then got a warrant and searched the home on Thursday.

They arrested the main suspect at the door and found a woman inside after they began their search. The second man tried to run from officers, but was also caught and arrested, and police found a loaded Glock 48 handgun nearby.

After finishing the search, officers had found 141 grams of cocaine, 1.6 grams of meth, 11 grams of cannabis concentrate (also known as shatter), $910 in cash, three cell phones, digital scales, the money counter and an extra magazine for the gun.

Investigation also found that the gun had been reported stolen from an Alberta business in 2020.

As a result, 24-year-old Coleton Brown, 31-year-old Cassandra Bear, and 22-year-old Tiem Deng have each been charged with possession of cocaine for the purpose of trafficking, possession of proceeds obtained by crime, and multiple firearms-related offences. Brown and Bear are also charged with breaching court-ordered conditions.

All three accused appeared in Prince Albert Provincial Court on April 10, 2026.

Members from the Saskatchewan Trafficking Response Team & the Prince Albert Police Service Patrol Section assisted in the investigation.
