Prince Albert police investigate stabbing at Cornerstone parking lot

The Prince Albert Police Service is investigating an aggravated assault that occurred Monday night in the Cornerstone Shopping area.

At approximately 8:28 p.m., officers responded to a business in the 800 block of 15th Street East and located a man with serious injuries consistent with a stabbing.

paNOW observed the ambulance on the east side of the Walmart store. Multiple police vehicles were also seen in the area.

The man was initially transported to Victoria hospital and later transferred to Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, where he remains in stable condition.
