Prince Albert police commence death investigation
A thick line of yellow tape surrounds a home in Prince Albert’s west flat and police have confirmed they are investigating a death.
A 50-year-old man who was reportedly assaulted at the home on March 29, has passed away at a hospital in Saskatoon.
On the night of the violent incident, the Prince Albert Police Service responded to a residence in the 1000 Block of 17th Street West. On arrival officers located the injured man, who had been involved in an altercation with another individual known to him.
The man was conscious and transported to Victoria Hospital by Parkland Ambulance for treatment of injuries, including bleeding from the nose and mouth. He then left Victoria Hospital prior to being seen by a doctor.
