Local science students invited to National Competition
Two young science students from the Saskatchewan Rivers Public School Division have punched their tickets to attend next month’s Canada-Wide Science Fair in Edmonton.
Ella Fendelet, a Grade 8 student from Christopher Lake School, and Jade Bremner, a seventh grade student from Red Wing School, wowed the judges at the Prince Albert and Northeast Regional Science Fair which was held on March 31.
Fendelet placed first for her project: Filters to Fibers: Can You Make a New Product Out of Cigarette Butts?
Bremner placed second for her project: Self Healing Biodegradable Plastic.
