WATCH: Community Champion Scott Roos

“Community Champions” is a brand new video series on paNOW and features local people who make their communities a better place through volunteer work or just random acts of kindness.

Scott Roos is a fixture in Prince Albert’s arts community and for many years has taught and inspired the next generation of musicians.

In addition to his regular teaching duties at John Diefenbaker and Vincent Massey, Roos also plays in the Prince Albert Concert Band, and directs both the Lakeland Junction Big Band (an adult jazz ensemble made up of musicians from PA, Tisdale, and Melfort) and the Prince Albert Youth Jazz Band which held a special concert on Dec.17. paNOW‘s Nigel Maxwell was invited to attend.
