Prince Albert family continues snowy tradition
Sprawled across a lawn in Prince Albert’s Crescent Acres neighbourhood is a large rabbit snow sculpture and a small Elf village.
The ice sculptures on Lacroix Crescent represent a Fraser family tradition who last year constructed a large shark sculpture. Steven Fraser told paNOW he didn’t feel any pressure topping last year’s creation.
“I don’t think there’s any pressure at all. It’s just the next idea, and of course, with not much snow this year, we had to adjust what we wanted to make. This turned out just what it was supposed to be this year, a rabbit.”
When asked how they came upon choosing a rabbit, Fraser explained that they have lots of wild rabbits running around the neighbourhood.
