Cocaine, meth and prohibited gun found during traffic stop in Prince Albert
A man and a woman from Prince Albert are facing a number of serious charges after a traffic stop in the city resulted in the seizure of drugs, cash and a gun.
On October 24, at approximately 8 p.m., RCMP initiated a traffic stop after observing a vehicle speeding through a school zone.
After conducting a roadside mandatory alcohol screening, it was determined the driver had consumed alcohol before driving.
During a search of the vehicle, officers seized approximately 18 grams of cocaine, nine grams of methamphetamine, a loaded firearm, and a sum of cash.
