Internatonal Forest Film Festival at This Year’s Native Plant Society’s Annual Meeting

Jan 12, 2011 | 9:14 AM

2011 has been declared the International Year of Forests by the United Nations.

This is to announce the Native Plant Society of Saskatchewan's 16th annual general meeting and workshop on February 11-12, 2011 at TCU Place in Saskatoon, SK.  The theme this year is “Celebrate 2011 – the International Year of Forests”.

We will have a range of speakers talking about Saskatchewan's forests.  There will be something for everyone and it is one of the best events of the year!

New for this year is the International Forest Film Festival.  We are the only venue in Saskatchewan screening the winners of the United Nations forest film festival.

The Annual General Meeting is free and the fees for the rest are as follows:
Workshop – NPSS members – $45 Annual General Meeting and Workshop –
non-members – $55 Annual General Meeting and Workshop – all students – $35
