The return of the Titans; enjoy first win since November

Feb 14, 2018 | 9:16 PM

It’s been a long while since the Prince Albert Titans got a win, but they managed to squeak out a 7-6 shootout victory over the Saskatoon Royals Wednesday at the Kinsmen Arena.

That ended a 22-game losing streak. The Titans’ previous win came back on Nov. 19, a 6-1 victory over the Regina Silver Foxes.

Their other win this year also game against the Royals at the Kinsmen, 5-3 back on Oct. 5.

The Titans can thank Tanner Hendriks, a call up from the Prince Albert Midget AA Dairy Queen Chill, for his huge night for the Titans. He scored four goals in regulation, and also scored the only goal in the three-round shootout.
