Prince Albert judge orders trial for alleged drunk driver
A young woman alleged responsible for a multi-vehicle crash in Prince Albert’s downtown area while impaired and behind the wheel of a stolen vehicle, will face trial.
Cherise Harris’ case was discussed Tuesday afternoon at Provincial Court.
In relation to the incident that occurred on Oct. 2., not guilty pleas were entered on her behalf by Judge Scheifner to the six charges that are before the court including; impaired driving, dangerous driving, possession of stolen property under $5,000 and leaving the scene of an accident.
At the time of the offence, the 19-year-old was also under a probation order that prohibited her from driving.
