Impaired driving charge laid after multi-vehicle crash

A number of charges have been laid, including impaired driving and reckless driving, following a multi-vehicle crash late Wednesday afternoon in Prince Albert.

Cherise Harris, 19, is in custody and scheduled to appear Monday morning at provincial court.

The crash occurred at the corner of 15th St. W and Bishop McLean Cr. (Gateway Mall Entrance).

Two of the vehicles collided head on, and a third smaller car, suffering rear end damage, was observed parked in the westbound lane, facing east.

A female was taken to hospital with minor injuries, and it’s not clear if this was in fact Harris.

In addition to the driving charges, Harris is also accused of breaching a probation order from December that prohibited her from driving.
