Man with gun arrested at Muskoday business

A man from Prince Albert is facing a number of gun-related charges after an incident on Monday at a business on the Muskoday First Nation.

Around 12:30 p.m., police were called to the community for a suspicious person.

Curtis Black was arrested at the business and appeared in court on Wednesday.

An improvised firearm was found by police and seized.

Black’s charges include possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose, carrying a concealed weapon, possession of a firearm when knowing possession is unauthorized, and possession of a restricted firearm/prohibited weapon with ammunition without a licence.
