Suspect in Ahtahkakoop gun incident no shows on court date

A man facing violence related charges, is once again wanted by Saskatchewan RCMP after skipping out on his last court date.

The Prince Albert Warrant Enforcement and Suppression Team (WEST) believes 44-year-old Clayton Dumais may be in the Mistawasis Nêhiyawak (Mistawasis First Nation) area, but this can’t be confirmed.

He is wanted by Ahtahkakoop RCMP for failing to attend court for charges including assault causing bodily harm, pointing a firearm and uttering threats.

The charges were laid as a result of investigation into incidents between December 2023 and March 2024 by Ahtahkakoop RCMP.

Clayton Dumais is described as approximately six feet tall. He has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a scar on the left side of his neck.

Police advised anyone who sees Clayton Dumais, should not approach him. Report sightings and information to RCMP or Crime Stoppers.
