Fire at P.A. A&W not considered suspicious say police

The cause of a fire at the A&W restaurant in downtown Prince Albert is still unknown.

Firefighters were called to the restaurant at around 5:10 a.m. Wednesday for reports of a fire in the kitchen area.

The blaze later spread to the attic space and to the roof of the structure.

While the fire has been deemed under control, firefighters will be at the scene for the majority of the day.

Thankfully no injuries were reported and while the cause is still not known, Prince Albert Police do not believe it is suspicious at this time.
