Crews on scene of fire at A&W in downtown P.A.

Firefighters are battling a blaze that has engulfed the A&W restaurant on 11 Street West in Prince Albert.

Police have closed off that section of downtown starting at the intersection of 12 Street and 1st Avenue West.

According to a media release from the Prince Albert Police Service, there is considerable damage but the fire is under control.

The incident is not considered suspicious at this time. Police and the Prince Albert Fire Department members are still on scene.

So far, there’s been no word on the cause of the fire or any injuries.
