Raiders fall to Blades in topsy turvy affair
The Prince Albert Raiders just can’t seem to solve the Saskatoon Blades this season.
In their first game back after the Christmas break, the Raiders went toe for toe with the first place Blades on Wednesday night in Saskatoon, but ultimately came out on the wrong side of a 6-3 score.
The Raiders managed to erase a 2-0 deficit and take a 3-2 third period lead, but were unable to fend off a late Saskatoon rally in front of nearly 8,000 spectators at SaskTel Centre on Teddy Bear Toss night.
Sloan Stanick had three points for the Raiders. Ryder Ritchie was unable to play due to a lower body injury suffered before Christmas.
