Prince Albert voting stations report steady stream of voters
Several voting stations in the city reported an early morning rush, and then a steady stream of voters between 9 a.m. and 12 p.m.
Midtown Hall and Parkland Hall estimated sixty voters during the rush, enough to cause lines at each ballot box.
“I’d like to see more people but it’s been running smoothly,” information officer Sarah Pocha-Tait said. “It’s not as crazy. It’s more organized than I thought it would be.”
The pace remained similar for much of the noon hour. Information officers interviewed at the Carlton Park Community Club said they’d seen a steady trickle of voters.
