Northern Bears drop back-to-back road games in Swift Current

The Mann-Northway Northern Bears continued to struggle early on in the campaign this weekend as Prince Albert dropped back-to-back games against the Swift Current Wildcats at the S3 Arenas.

The pair of losses come after picking up the first win of the season on Wednesday night in a 7-5 victory over the Battlefords.

Although the games were close, the Bears fell in Saturday’s contest 3-1 and 4-2 on Sunday.

Zayda Summach had the lone goal, and point, on Saturday while Nikita Krayetski was in goal for the Black and Orange, stopping 22 shots.
