Vehicle collision claims life of Pelican Narrows man

RCMP are investigating a collision that claimed the life of a 39-year-old man from Pelican Narrows.

At around 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, officers received a report of a collision involving a pedestrian in the northern community.

The man was transported to a hospital where he would later be declared deceased.

RCMP noted the driver of the vehicle did stay at the scene.

The Pelican Lake detachment, along with an RCMP collision reconstructionist, continue to investigate the incident.
