A man accused of threatening an off-duty police officer will be tried in December after pleading not guilty in Prince Albert Provincial Court this morning.
Wallace Hunt’s trial on charges that include assault with a weapon and assaulting a peace officer will happen on December 7 in Prince Albert Provincial Court.
The allegations are that a man was trying to break into a home in the 500 Block of 22nd Street East at about 5:30 m in mid-February of this year.
As police responded to that call, they were told of an off-duty officer being confronted by a man with a knife outside a nearby business. The descriptions of the two perpetrators was the same.
