Large amount of stolen tools recovered by police

A man is charged and Prince Albert Police are in possession of a large amount of tools and property they say were stolen from a local business.

Tyson Tobey, age 28 is charged with having the stolen property and trafficking in property he got through crime, along with having controlled substance, gun charges and breach of probation charges.

The PAPS Proactive Policing Unit did a traffic stop two days ago in the 1000 Block of 6th Ave. East that led to the discovery of some stolen items.

Police then went searched a home on the 500 block of 10th Street East and found more stolen items along with guns, ammunition and tools.

Investigators are working to match the items to break and enters in and around Prince Albert.

Toby was arrested last fall on similar charges of having stolen goods.

He made his first appearance on the most recent charges on July 19.

Police say the investigation is ongoing.
