The offense was rolling for the Prince Albert Predators on Thursday night when they thrashed the Saskatoon Swat 17-3 at Kinsmen Arena.

The dominant performance puts P.A. back into the win column after tying with the Swift Current Wolverines on Saturday 8-8. It was also a great showing on the defensive end as the Preds only conceded goals in the first period before Mason Hawkes stood tall between the pipes to blank the Swat in periods two and three. Hawkes made 22 saves overall to help P.A. improve to 7-1-1 on the season.

Talon Sandry led the way for the Blue and Gold, scoring four times and adding three assists while Koltin Fyrk and Hayden Ulriksen both netted two goals and three assists in the contest. Matthew Cudmore had four points, affiliate Sam Cooper had three, and Davin Ikert, Caidyn Prediger, Brayden Rieger, Waylon Altstadt, Tobey Oshanek, and Braden Shewchuk each had two. Meanwhile, Luke Eggerman and Chase Netmaker both had one point.

For Saskatoon, Keenan Hunchak, Nate Gallant, and Carson Welsh each scored once while Connor Mooney, Austin Butler, and Cole Barmby all added one helper. Ethan Mooney got the nod in net where he stopped 37 of 54 shots as the Swat fall to 3-5-0 on the year.
