Woman missing after last being seen in Big River FN May 19

UPDATE: RCMP confirmed Thursday morning that Janelle Whitefish has been found.

A 26-year-old woman has been missing since May 19, and Big River RCMP are asking for the community’s help in finding her.

Janelle Whitefish was last seen on Big River First Nation on May 19 around noon, getting into a black vehicle. The Big River RCMP received a missing persons report on May 23.

Whitefish is 5-7 tall and weighs 170 pounds. She has long black hair and brown eyes. She was last seen wearing blue jeans and a green sweater, and walks with a noticeable limp.
